Bawarchi Indian Cuisine

I rolled the dice on a few dishes i have never heard of but were described as "hard to explain but very delicious and recommended " and "highly highly recommended!". Believe them! Everything was delicious! And still hot when it got to my door even though its about 20 degrees right now!

One of my closest and most well traveled friends told me their Tikka Masala was some of the best she ever had. We've done a good job of eating around the menu, and everything has been delicious!

Food was authentic and very flavorful and I would highly recommend this place if you want the best Indian food in Manhattan!

My go-to Indian place in Manhattan, thankfully close by my house, if not in Seamless range of work. Consistently delicious food, sizable portions (great for sharing family style) at a reasonable price. I've had enough mediocre or worse Indian food on Seamless before, and I've had great authentic Indian food in Bahrain. This place is some of the best around. Standouts include the Lamb Xacutee and the Boatman Crab Curry. Never post-meal Delhi-belly. Have not tried any Indian-style Chinese yet, but it's on the agenda. This place is relatively new, but I hope it stays around for a long, long time. Update: Tried the Fish Chilly. Awesome. This place "delivers" with every delivery.

Bawarchi is my new favorite! The food is delicious every time and delivery is fast and polite. I order Saag Paneer almost daily because it is the best cheese and spinach dish. It comes with great rice, pappadam, and sauces. We are so lucky to have such a great new restaurant in East Harlem. If you work at Mount Sinai, get it delivered, or take a shorter walk up to 104thit's worth it! Oh, and the lunch buffet- fresh, well-seasoned, and a great selection. If you work in any of the schools in East Harlem, get this delivered: it's fast, healthy, and delicious!!

Good Indian delivery is hard to find, and after my favorite local place closed, I was so glad to find Bawarchi. I've ordered twice now, and will definitely order again. Everything I've ordered has been excellent, hot and quick. The chicken kathi kebabs are among the best I've had, and none of the curries have disappointed either. They've also got some relatively hard-to-find menu items (like pav bhaji). A great find for uptown Indian!

This is on my short list of best Indian restaurants in NYC. Not everything I've had here is a standout. But the things they do well, they do *really* well, making highly flavorful, fresh-tasting food that is more interesting than what you find on the typical U.S. Indian menu. Of what I've eaten so far, my favorites are the Bombay Pav Bhaji, the Medu Vada Sambar, and the Garwai Bhelbhal. Looking forward to trying more soon!

One of our favorite (and really only option on seamless) Indian options in the neighborhood. The Dinner special is one of the best values around. Love the Tikka Masala and Lamb Vindaloo, the sauce sides (chutney & green one) are always good. The Veggie Samosa is also delicious. We have never been disappointed over the last few years of ordering. They are a biweekly dinner for us and we always have left overs.
